Greens and progressives, we need your help!

Folksinger and businessman John Kolstad has accepted the challenge to run for Attorney General.

So far, he has a brief advantage until the big money starts pouring in, as he is currently the most well-known person in the race.

PAPA JOHN CAN WIN!

Now it's your turn to accept the challenge!

Let's take advantage of the advantage by pitching in. Papa John is personable, knowledgeable, tough, and appealing -- but the media won't let him debate and won't report on his campaign.

This means that visibility is up to YOU!

Papa John is planning a road show across the state to highlight progressive issues such as universal single payer health care. He needs contacts, venues, and media.

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP:

-Host a show on his tour, or help us connect with those who can*
-Connect with others
-Call others
-Email others
-Get the news about Papa John on your progressive web site or listserve

*In particular, we need you to locate people in the Duluth, Brainerd, Alexandria, Marshall, Rochester, Albert Lea, Mankato and other areas around the state who would be willing to host Papa John at their local venue/event.

Hosts would help with arrangements and publicity. Papa John will come ready with his memorable, comedic, politically incisive show, say a short piece about himself, universal health care, and his campaign, and do a Q&A, then do a second set if desired. Overnight sleeping accommodations would be appreciated for places more than 80 miles out of Minneapolis. And we need these contacts within the next few days!

In the meantime, we also need calls to MPR and others broadcasting or sponsoring in debates who have not allowed Papa John to participate, and letters to newspapers such as the Star Tribune which do not provide balanced coverage of all the candidates.

Papa John says: "I can win with 35% of the vote 70% of the MN public are against the public subsidy for the stadium. If I can get half of those plus Greens I easily win."
